Mod reccomendation? Tired of ads?

OK, Civ III has been out for awhile now, and I know the fans must have put out some really good mods by now. I'm looking for a general mod for the game that is balanced and historically correct. Not interested in specialty mods at the moment like Civil War or Teletubbies.

So is there a good mod that is getting good responses from the community?

Not sure which mod would you like most.
Try looking at those MODs in files forums which threads have more then one page.

Like Korns Blitz MOD, Blanacer MOD, and several others.

Support Apolyton, buy GURPS/ Alpha Centauri

We are still doing a lot of work on the balancer mod. We are currently looking into implementing a new tech tree in it similar to the one it Medmod2. I reccomend the current balancer mod along with Sn00py's graphics. Also tehre are a couple of other graphics changes that I really like that make the game easier to understand such as the build queue add on.
