	Question and suggestion Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

Is there some trick to establishing embassies in the mid-game? I have sent a ship to make trade routes and have trade routes available to all other civs, but no option to open an embassy. Am I missing something here? Shouldn't the screen pop up that asks whether I want to pay to establish an embassy? Thanks in advance for replies.

Suggestion: how about a search function on the forums so that questions like the above can be asked just one time?

You can set up embassies at any time (after researching writing) by clicking on the star icon next to your capitol.
