Porque juega feo de toda la vida, además lleva un par de años coqueteando con el descenso, y porque el año pasado se valió de la hermandad mafiosa de los equipos de la ikurriña para evitarlo, y mandar al Oviedo (o fue al Racing?) a segunda. Cualquiera de esos se lo merecía menos que la Real.



En realidad, y pese a los malos recuerdos, incluso prefiero que baje la Real antes que el Tenerife...

Y por lo que a mi respecta porque a pesar de estar afiliado a la LFP no admite jugadores españoles no vascos en sus filas. Manda cojons el tema. Los del otro lado al menos son consistentes y quieren solo vascos (mejor, asi nunca ganaran nada). Pero estos, o vascos o no españoles. A mi eso si que me toca las balls, la verdad.

In which case, please understand if I go off on a tangent.

Great result for Liverpool to beat Roma and go through to the quarter-finals. I don't really want United to draw Liverpool, even though I'd back them to win... obviously the Greeks are the draw everyone wants, although to be honest I wouldn't give Liverpool a chance against Madrid. They're a far weaker team than United, but they've held all the aces in the matches between them recently - basically by playing boring, ultra-defensive football and getting one lucky break.

Deportivo paid the price for fielding a weakened side against Leverkusen... I hope they're well punished by one of the other three group winners. They really should have come top of their group.

The three form sides are United, Madrid and Munich. Table-toppers Leverkusen and Barcelona were far from convincing. Although we couldn't break down Munich, the others in the group were dispatched with ease and efficiency. Now let's see if United's defence can stand up and be counted.

he he Iain, you opened the thread and then disappeared I completely agree with your analysis. Depor made a big mistake yesterday imho. They should have secured their first place and not given it away that cheap. I am sorry for Arsenal. I always liked that team.

Hay alguna manera de modificar el limite de ciudades en el civ2? (si no conte mal, son 255)
Tambien se puede modificar el limite de unidades?

No lo sé, pero lo dudo mucho; claro que hay gente que se dedica a destripar el código fuente, pero me temo que no sea posible; el límite de 255 es consecuencia de almacenar el número de ciudades en una variable de tipo carácter ASCII extendido, que ocupa 8 bits (desde 0 hasta 255). Por eso eliminar el límite teórico de ciudades no sería tan simple como eliminar ese número mágico de alguna parte del código; habría que modificar la reserva de memoria... sería muy complicado.

Yes, yes I do think United will beat Deportivo. I can't see us making the same mistakes like we did in the first group stage - and let's be honest, they were individual errors that cost us those two matches, particularly the home match. Even when Deportivo outplayed us in Spain, United still led until the last five minutes.

Obviously the Greeks would've been the best draw, but I don't think United can complain. The three main rivals to United are all in the other half. I'm not sure Liverpool will beat Leverkusen, but I'd back United to beat either.

Whoever wins the quarter-finals between United and Deportivo, and Madrid and Munich will reach the final. My money's on a Manchester-Madrid final. And there's only going to be one winner at Hampden Park. Like the 1999 final on Busby's birthday, Hampden is very much home turf for Ferguson. It's all too simple, isn't it?

I think that you are not taking the Deportivo as serious as you should, is without any doubt one of the bests teams in europe,
same level as Madrid and Manchester

if Deportivo keeps playing as they´ve done it until now they will win the champions without any doubt

Of course I take Deportivo seriously. They are an excellent side, and deserved to beat United earlier in the season. However, for all Deportivo's excellence earlier in the season, they still could only beat United with a late goal, or individual errors - and United's form was stuck in a rut at the time. Since then, we've improved immeasurably, and I think United are the better side, and will go through.
