Any way to disband a city? Inflate your Upload Space

I was just wondering if there is any way to basically disband a city that you once built. I have a bunch in this one scenerio I am playing and wish to trim down the number a bit. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Support Apolyton, buy Civilization: The Boardgame

Starve city to size 2 (or build settlers), then make a zero food surplus and build a settler. You'll be asked if you wish to disband the city. Done.

Got spare money?

Reducing to size 1 and building a worker does the job too. The key is to make sure that you are at zero net food production when you complete construction of your worker or settler. It won't build it if your food supply is increasing, it waits until your city expands instead.
