We should send over a few boat loads of diplo's and hurt all their cities and military enough that they won't be a threat in the long run. That is, after we use them for techs and the such.

The effects of a diplo attack don't last very long, and it gets everyone else upset with us. If we have extra dips available, it would be far more useful to establish embassies.

I cannot respond, because I havn't even an idea of the localization of the Egyptians, by lack of a screenshot available for all the citizens !
Is this link only for the cabinet (who have the saved file) ?

Thx to Gramphos for the view.
As The Egyptians are on a little continent, have several cities and perhaps are ahead in research (?) (to my knowledge, they are the only civ to have built a WoW, the Pyramids!), I think we need peace and trade, possibly to exchange discoveries ?
We'll see later for another attitude, especialy if they are hostile.

How could the egyptian emmisary be hostile .

Maybe we could try to put an outpost on their island(just to have one food in the ground there.Always a nice base for further actions.)
