	Science confirmation Got spare money?

The last poll has closed, and we'll target for Astronomy. However thare was a big support for Navigation as well, and this poll is to decide if we should go op the said path to Navigation/Physics or stop at Astronomy. At last 14 (2/3 of the voters in last poll) voters need to vote in the poll. A vote for Physics will automaticly count for Navigation. (Which means that to go for Physics it needs more votes then Navigation to be targeted)

I also include an option to not follow the path at all, but to go for Invention, as that was quit popular. That option will need >50% to be selected.

The poll will be open for 24 hours, and in case the game has to go on during that time and polytheism can't be selected mathematics shall be researched, if possible, otherwise the wheel.

Oh, and if anyone want to know I suggest we go the Navigation. We're on a map with water, so we need better ships.

I don't like those really long tech plans. So I say we stop at Astronomy, and check the state of the nation. Navigation is a good science, but not a CRITICAL one.
Heck, we didn't even research Polytheism, and we're already polling for Astronomy or after!

This means we will have to wait for the research of Monotheism, Mathematics and Astronomy (IIRC-might be missing one tech).
Let's look at the empire and its needs after the discovery of Astronomy.

Well, the only thing important with this poll right now is that we need an alternate target, as all techs aren't selectable always. As it might be invention that the people not voting for math based path wants this has to be polled on before we shall do the next researh. As I said in the first post it might be ignored in case we reach the research to early.

Als in case the situation changes we might repoll, however we need to keep two low level paths to always have at least two options in the cience selections. And this poll includes higher paths so it might be possible to slow down the poll rate.

Navigation. As Gramphos said, we need better ships, and caravels are much better than triremes.

Also, we'll get the chance to build Magellan, which could definitely prove useful.

little questions for Gramphos:
What is our current researchqueu?
(and where is monotheisme placed on it?)
and what will be done in this situation
eg our queu looks like this:
T1,T2,T3,T4,T5,T6
and when playing we get the next possibilities
first
T1 & T2 can be selected(=> choose T1)
second time
T2 & T3 & T4 can be selected(=> choose T2)
third time
T4 & T5 can be selected(Choose T4)
fourth time
T3 & T5 can be selected
==> T5 is part of a techpath(like the ones we are polling for)
what will be chozen?T3 or T5 because it's part of the path?

We really need a happines-wonder before we can go on breeding like rabbits.

I've decided to split paths to more levels of the queue to make it easier to read and understand. (Not Math - Astronomy as #3)

T3 will be selected, unless a poll is hold when we couldent follow the path, and had to start on the other. (If that tech is usless on it's own I might hold a poll to decide if T3 and T5 should be swaped) But unless discussed T3 should be selected.

It was a close poll. We'll stop at Astronomy as 53% are against going to Navigation or beyond. Later targets will be polled for in another poll. By me, or the next science advisor, if not before the end of my term.
