Guys,
In my forum: http://www.forumnow.com/vip/foruns.asp?forum=59183 (in portuguese) , we are creating the brazilian civilization. But, when we change another civ in the civ3editor, the game crashes ... There are three another problems:
1) When i finish the "new civ", i can play it ell only if iīve changed it by an unic scenario, the game plays ok, but when iīll try to build the new unit, the game crashes
2) How can i create a new lider picture (ex: change the Lincolnīs picture to "D.Pedro"), and, thereīs a program wich i can work with it?
3)How can i create or edit an new unit without crashing the game, the brazilīs new unit is called "bandeirante", and i pretend to keep it like that: ADM= 2/2/2, and the abilyties to clear forest, make roads, and probably crete new colonies.
Please, show me what programs i can use for it.
Thank a LOT ,

I'm not sure about your civ problem but I suspect your unit problem has to do with a missing folder in Art/Units. There has to be a folder with the name of the unit, and an .ini file, with the same name, pointing to the graphics for that unit, otherwise the game will crash everytime you select it in the build list.
In your case, you need to have a folder named Bandeirante, and inside the folder you need to have a file called Bandeirante.ini, which tells the game what graphics to use. Take a look at some of the existing folders to really understand what I'm talking about. BTW, if you make this unit, with Worker abilities, the AI won't be able to use it properly, there's no way it could understand how it works.
Your best bet for creating new units is to get the Civ3MultiTool, over in the files area. It will create the folders and .ini file, and you can add new graphics to it later. The .ini is just a text file so it's easy to change it later.
