actually you guys got it all wrong.

Fox news covered this same issue a couple of weeks ago. They might be obsessed with Rosie.

Rosie is expected to leave her show soon. So it really doesn't matter is she says she is gay.

And why would being gay lower her ratings? It raised ratings for Ellen for a short while. Does being gay make her less entertaining?

Ellen lost the show because they became too preachy. People don't watch sitcoms that become too preachy. We want mindless entertainment. Why else would I watch Married With Children?



And I've known Rosie O' Donnel was gay for years. Any woman who turns down a date with me is obvsiously gay. This is not news.

who knows, maybe that girl or boy in high school that is hiding it, they might find the courage to "come out". Good for them

Would it make me stop watching her show? no, I don't watch it anyway.

She was afunny stand up comedian, would I go see her do that? Sure, like i said she WAS funny, don't know if she still is or not.

Well, Queer As Folk gets good ratings I think... so it doesn't really affect the ratings I think, just the audiences. You won't expect fundamentalist christians watching it... just a different audience.

My Uncle is a camera man, and used to do her show. One day after the show, he politely asked for an autograph for my aunt (his sister in law) who was a big fan.

She told him "get back to work and quit wasting my time"

Apparently the set of her show was set up in a way to only get her from her "good side" and if any camera men ever got her from her "bad side" they would be reprimanded and or fired. Which leads me to wonder, which side is the good side??

Rosie O'Donnell is NOT the person who should be speaking as the voice for coming out or gay parenting, period. If anything, her constant grandstanding on any issue du jour (gays, gun control, etc.) probably provokes more of an unfavorable opinion of gay issues than anything else. Rosie is a mass-media empire-builder, not a social activist.

Hey, I find her annoying too. But no one else is going to come out and say something. She's all we've got right now, until someone else has the guts to do something about it.
