The US doesn't use those in actual combat these days.
We do.

Really? AFIK, the US military still uses the M249 which is their designation for the C9.

The C9 they give to every soldier that's an exact copy of what the US hands to its soldiers?

I think you mean the C7, the Canadian version of the M16A1E1. The C9 is a machine gun and there is usually only one per infantry squad IIRC.

Take them. You can also have BC so Alaska is connected by land. How about Quebec too, you can have them. Hmm. And Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, New Brunswick, PEI, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Nunavut.
On second thought, Alberta, NWT, and the Yukon will just form our own country. |
FU*K THAT!!! You ain't taking ****!! And certainly not Quebec!! Oh well, on second thought, go ahead, take Ontario, all they do is whine all the time anyway.
But leave Quebec alone!! Only WE can legaly drink until 3am at the age of 18!! YEEHAA!!!! Montreal IS the party town. The Ultimate city for night life.

If the old Tiger stadium was still there, I'd want Detroit in a second.
One of the perfect moments in my life was seeing the Jays playing against the Tigers in early May 92. The stadium was pretty much empty. I went down to just behind home plate. Now that's baseball when you can hit the crack of the bat and the players dissing each other. And you see the ball come in and think how the hell does anyone hit it. |
Damn right, Ting. (Too bad you've got all-expense paid 48 hour trip to Mingapulco.) Tiger Stadium was, far and aware, the favorite place of my childhood. Comerica Park is beautiful and I love the field dimensions and everyone has good sightlines, but it's just not the same.

That is one park that I really want to see.... and yes, I love the field dimensions too... it ain't a homer-a-second park. |
That's what I like most about it. However, the problem with it is that it is nowhere near as intimate as Tiger Stadium. You're significantly further away from the action. No more obstructed view seats, but no one is on top of the action anymore, either.
A little metaphor for socialism, eh? Oh, the irony.
