It is unclear what happened here, two Palestinians were conducting some sort of terrorist activity, or were suspected for doing this in the past, and three other Palestinians were walking in the street. Suddenly they jumped on the bad guys, disarmed them and escorted them to an Israeli Army or Police checkpoint nearby. After doing that they dissapeared again in the streets of the city.

Go figure.

Just a guess, but I suspect it was a suicide bomber and the robot is there to defuse a bomb.

AFAIK these are pictures of a caught suicide bomber, and the commander of the Police in Jerusalem ordered to execute him.
I dont know much about this case, but if it's true, WTF happened to his head? They were "supposed" to shoot him, not to blow up his head.

Supposedly he has a bomb attached to his chest. According to the police, he was sqirming around on the ground, trying to set the bomb off, so they shot him in the head.

According to witnesses, he had been under control for about a half an hour before they shot him out of the blue.

Either way, there's a dead kid with his brain's splattered out on the ground.
