Bug in Med PAck II... or just my mod configuration! Support Apolyton, buy GURPS/ Alpha Centauri

Hi,
Often when notifications pop-up relating to special units being developed by other races I get the variable fields printed on the pop-up instead of their values.

How can I fix this?

I wish I knew. It can probably be fixed, but I don't know enough and coding to figure out what messes up some of the messages.
The problem is between the slic code and the text strings in the scen_str.txt.
