The biggest cheat was $50 (not including tax) for an underdeveloped and flawed Civ III, plus $13 for the dopey "Strategy Guide".
But in the game if you rename a .sav file "multi.sav" you will be able to see the entire board AND change production of rival cities, and a few other things.

Chieftan level is an excelent cheat.
All you have to do when you start a new game is stand up.
Step to the left.
Jump up
jump up
jump up
step to the left
squat down
stand up
step to the right
do two jumping jacks
step to left
sit down
Click on Chieftan level
If you can't beat that with a little practice no cheat is going to help you.

Up and down is no problem. Nor is north and south. The hard part was being sure to get that wrong.
I am right handed but when I was a long jumper I always took of on my right foot which is the opposite of most right handers. Some lefties do it backwards like that but not very many right handers. Caused problems with my jump shot in basketball because it makes me rotate.
