I don't know what's happening with the turn ATM, only that Hendrik when he last got it from me said he couldn't open it. Unfortunatly, I deleted the turn after I'd sent it, so...=/ However, I have managed to find a copy of the turn previous, which I'm resending to him now seeing as I haven't heard back from him yet about the turn which didn't work. Just FYI.

This looks like a thoroughly interesting game. All the human players are pacted together and the only method of victory is transcendance?

In addition it appears that factional SE bonuses or penalties don't exist... so I am on the same research footing as the UoP

Oh and if you guys could clarify that exactly the rules are that would be super... the only victory method is transcendance, but can I take bases from the AI and/or other players? The only bonus I have left is the +25% to attack bonus

Already sent the '88 and if you do't have the right turn then ask that youll get it. Otherwise we'll get the same problem again when this turn comes to you.
I sent RTT-Darsnan-Gaia-2188.zip again. And this the right and only file is.

The problem was that I reformatted my computer, and so don't have the correct turn to re-transmit to Archaic. Also, my bad about forgetting about this when I played the turn this morning at about 3:30am local time. When I opened the turn, I realized that I had previously played this turn, and shut down the game. After hearing from Dreifels, I understood the problem and replayed the turn and have sent to Archaic, hence you will get a warning message that I have played the turn twice. FYI.

Anyways, welcome aboard, Hendrick! I hope you will enjoy this game as much as we do! Since Archaic is in Australia, he should be getting up shortly, and hjopefully youi'll be getting your next turn post-haste!

Thanks, it looks quite interesting.
I would appreciate it if you guys could answer my above questions, IE what the rules are and if you are allowed to attack AIs/other factions.

and? then you have to ask the one being before you (me) to get the right string.
And the right one is that which I send several times (and again yesterday) and I expect that this one will be continued. Otherwise we'll have soon several threads of the same game if all continue an old file.
I really can't see why you don't asked for sending again the right file to you when you lost all.
I sent you the right file several times (and yesterday again), why you didn't play it?

Argh sorry I haven't said anything, I have been busy recently and I haven't been in the PBEM flow as much because most of them are moving slowwwly.
I had an error opening the last zip file you sent me archaic, I had two different programs say it was corrupted. Could you possibly send a complete, unzipped file?
If that would be possible that would be the best, I realize it will be very big.
If not try a resend.

I'll take the position but want to know if there are any particular rules other than the fact that transcendence is the only allowed victory method. Can players conquer each other and/or the AI (makes a huge difference)

All the faction's SE bonuses and penalties seem to have been switched off in this match. We're not exactly sure what's happened there, but every other bonus (Your attack bonus, my Nodes, Darsnan's fungus production) works.

welcome aboard! to expand upon Archaic's answer, why t-ras (the CMN) set up this game with all Faction's SE settings at zero. For instance, my Gaians had the automatc first worm capture, but from then on I cannot capture any worms as my Planet rating is zero. I also do not suffer from a military penalty, either.
As far as whether we can attack each other or not: why don't you use some of your nj's against Provost Archaic's conveniently nearby units and find out? Actually, I know that we can attack AI factions, so I am assuming that we can also attack each other as well. FYI.
ARCHAIC: have you forwarded the turn to Flubber yet?
