The Peacekeepers applaud the military successes of their Spartan allies! Stunning gains reported in the southeast of the Hive heartland! One wonders, though, if those gains can be held...can reinforcements be brought in time to stem the Hive riposte? Our own forces are stuck in place for the moment...Hive infantry is dug in in a rocky river valley along our line of advance, we have already taken heavy casuaties trying to dislodge them.
In other news, the latest Hive offensive on Gaian Ficus was broken by the timely arrival of Peacekeeping air suppport. Forward observers report the inexplicable presence of no fewer than 7 Hive missile penetrators patroling the southern shore of the freshwater sea. What madness is this? Stay tuned....

The year has brought on many changes...
In a classic "blitzkreig" assault by land, air, and marine forces; four Hive bases have fallen to the onslaught, and the Klans' have advanced to the gates of The Hive H.Q.!
25 battles were fought, with 21 Hive and 4 Klan casualties.
Faced with such a storm, Chairman Yang called upon Kolonel Krysia's Krusader no less than 5 times pleading for a cessation in hostilities - but always on condition of turning on the Peace Keepers, and / or asking for half of the Klan treasury.
In his final communique, he finally dropped such conditions, and we have agreed to "Blood Truce". (Let's see how long that lasts...)
I have also convinced him to cease hostilities with the hard pressed Gaians of Earth duMa. they are now at 'Treaty' standing.

Although the above seems like I did well... Five of my units have mysteriously disapeared after the calling of the truce. This may not seem like much to you, but to me it's quite a bit. Especially with my rows costing 13 minerals, it is an expensive loss. Again, This game seems to be acting funny with me. You'll recall the recent crashes whenever I occupied a Hive base.

Were the disappearing units those that you had probed away from Yang? Funny things happen to probed units. I THINK what happens is if the original owner runs out of slots in his DW (frequently happens around the time of reactor upgrades) and changes the occupant of the slot which used to contain the design you probed away, the unit vanishes. Seems the unit is still recorded in association with the original owner's DW...when the design is retired, the unit is too.
