	Weird text and game crashes Support Apolyton

Hello all,

I’ve run into some serious problems with Civ3. I bought the game in December last year and it worked perfectly – I never had any crash. I deleted it from my hard disk after three weeks. Now I’d like to restart playing Civ3 so I reinstalled the game a few days ago. But it doesn’t work at all this time. All the text appears wrong, even upon each other. An example of this you can see in the "Credits" and "Box" attachment. Also the game crashes with about everything I do. Apparently there is something wrong with my Civilization3.exe. You can see the error pop-up in the other “Popup” Attachment. Does anybody have an idea what could be wrong and how to solve it? Any help would be welcome!

Yes, you should send Firaxis and/or Infogrames an eMail with this, maybe they can help you better.

The only thing I can suggest is trying the standard stuff (newest drivers, reinstall, .....) but I doubt it would help.

Well, the reinstall might help but I guess you already tried that.

Of course. Well, I guess I'll just switch to EU2 and throw Civ3 back in the dustbin. Damn Firaxis.
