	Which one is better for play CIV? Browse Apolyton AD-FREE

Which one is better for play CIV?
AMD Athlon or Intel Pentium4?
I actually play on a Athlon 1400Mhz but heat too much... I´m will actualize to a one of these.
The problem is because when I was playing for a 2 hours the sound get off.. I supose is for the temperature of the CPU...
What do You think?

Probably the Athelon. Convention wisdom is that AMD is better for graphics processing, and Intel better for vector & matrix (I believe thats what the other two kinds are called), which makes AMD better for video games, and Intel better for intensive business type applications (especially databases).

I can't confirm for sure that this still holds true through the Athelon vs. Pentium IV, but considering the cost differences last time I checked, I still prefer Athelon.
