Last year the believers declared war on the friendly peacekeepers without any warning or notice of any kind.
I'm still waiting for their explanations on this incident. If no reasonable explanation is given I will ask for an extraordinary council meeting to discuss measures against them.

Minister of External Affairs : " We have unconfirmed reports that the Believers have declared war on our friends and allies the Peacekeepers. The Peacekeeps have made overtures that sanctions should be imposed"
Flubber: "We must view unprovoked attacks most severely but thus far we have receieved only the sketchiest of reports. Investigate further to determine exactly what has happened. Dispatch emmisaries to all nations to discover what we can. General Hickey . . . . you are to move our forces to Condition Blue-- I understand you would maintain higher readiness and more surveillance but that this is a completely defensive posture"
General Hickey: " That's correct Sir."
Flubber: " very well. I want status reports every 2 hours until I order otherwise. This may turn out to be nothing but I want us to be ready for whatever COULD be coming."

Sir Treehugger Flubber today called on the good Brother Dinoarms to explain his comments linking the Gaians with some alleged peacekeeper plot
" We are pacted with the peacekeepers for our mutual protection and security as we share a long common border. We will always be concerned when we see vendettas occurr and do not know the reasons behind them. However, we are not aware of any peacekeeper plans and are definitely not part of any such plans, based on propoganda or otherwise. The Gaian nation will always pursue a foreign policy based on its own assessment of events. "

Brother Dinoarms,
I'm glad you finally decided to comment the 'little' incident that occured 2
years ago. I only regret that it took a council reunion to get your
attention.
If you had done it sooner it would save all of us the trouble.
It is not true that you gave me an explanation immediately, considering that
an explanation is a clear and detailed description of what happened, just
like you did now.
You told me that there was an incursion and that '...no agression was
intended.'.
This tells me nothing about what happened. When I asked for a clear
explanation (that I believe I have the right to get) you didn't even bother
to reply.
Only then I decided to call the council.
You are also beeing completely unfair to high councilor Flubber who's only
crime was to dedicate his attention to the matter, but without taking any
sides due to lack of information (that was all I could conclude from his
words).
I have had no correspondence with him in this case and I certanly haven't
made any plot against you, as all the other leaders well know.
It is true that I haven't accepted a pact with you but you never really made
a proposal. You just selected 'propose pact' in the comm screen and left it
there without giving any reason why you wanted a pact with me, like you have
done every time you want to trade something. I would say you have a problem
with talking to people...
Besides I also don't have a pact with Chairman Sits and we have a very good
diplomatic, commercial and scientific relationship.
I would advise you to treat other people better. Adressing to others as
'pathetic' is not the best way to make them happy, and is certanly not the
right way to make them want to be your pact brothers.
I am redrawing the proposal against you. I accept your explanations and
consider the incident finished business, as Prefect Coldark already restored
peace with you.
I am also willing to restore our treaty but I will keep my right of making
pacts with who I want.

P.S. - With time you will get to know me better and you will find that
'ultimatums' don't work with me. So I am disregarding the message you sent
me today in the sake of the planet's peace.

External Affairs Minister : " well not much happened at all sir. there was some diplomatic bluster and then the issue seems to have totally blown over. We understand that the Peacekeepers and Believers are normalizing relations and that nobody seems eager at all for war."
Flubber: " Good. Wars are just so harmful to the environment. Lasers were bad enough but these impact weapons are so destructive and missiles have the capacity for widespread havoc "
