One quick question about sizes. (yes, i really want to order one or two)
How long are they in general? If the shirts are more tall man length than a large will fit. If they're on the shorter size, I'll need to order an XL. Since Its hard to tell from a picture, any additional info would help.
(which is the main reason I don't order shirts on-line, but I'm willing to make an exception for one of these FINE shirts)

Unfortunately you can't tell from the number size either.

Unless it's a large ticket item, mail returns are rare. Which is why Mail order scams are so rampant in the US.
Always order from a vendor you can trust.

If you don't find any additional info. I'll just order an XL to be on the safe side.

And for that earlier question...............
While there are a few differences between polo and golf shirts, the most noticable one is when the shirt has a pocket. On a golf shirt the pocket would be on the right, to not impede a right handed golfer's swing. Most other shirt pockets are on the left. (trivial fact #2,074) Yes, I know these shirts don't have pockets.
