Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

There were some true freaks in my upper elementary class. Once after gym class, I was just about to hit the showers when I heard loud shouting and noises from there. It turned out a guy had started pissing on everyone!

Imagine my complete happiness over being a little slow in the dressing room.

From then on, me and several others decided to go home and shower after gym class.

Definitely.

It's always best to make sure you can handle yourself against multiple people, without anyone's help.

Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

ooh, I have a bad locker room story....

in 8th grade, my first year in a new school, this one kid who was not tough ****, for some odd reason decided he was going to pick on me. He always wanted to pick a fight with me while I was in the middle of changing for gym. I'd have my shorts around my ankles and he'd start with me, shove me around a little bit, I'd tell him to knock it off, that it's stupid to fight while we're both half-naked, especially without provocation. This went on for a few days, finally one day, with my trousers down, I threw open a locker and slammed it into his face...I didn't get **** from him anymore.

My suggestion? From my perspective the only ways to defend yourself against multiple people are to run really fast or buy a handgun. Or live in magical fairy land

orange...once this moron always used to walk behind me, try to trip me up.

One day, he made the mistake of trying it while carrying about 6 books...he started his ****, so I stopped walking very quickly and threw a leg backwards. He, of course, tripped and went flying.

It was even funnier when a teacher came out, and he got to explain WHY he was on the floor

High school kids generally don't know how to fight (at least, that's been my experience). Odds are, they'd be a cakewalk.

Very true - fighting a high school kid would be a cakewalk. Fighting three people, who would be at least my size, would be a disaster if they did the smart thing and all bum-rushed me at once. My only defense to that is to say "Sure, you can kick my ass, but which one of you wants to go to the hospital?".

The good thing is, if that happens, you get one good nose breaking shot in, and the other two peel out in fear. Sometimes the way to win a fight is not by winning it or being more powerful, but making victory so costly that it is unattractive.

Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

I was the tortured tool of amusement for many of my fellow peers right from Year 2 (it was then that the wretched little brats knew what made me tick) to about year 10 (when they finally decided to grow up). The worst of it being in Year 8. It ruined my schooling as well. My mind was too bogged down to be worrying about school work, and my marks dropped quickly. I was in the honours classes at the beginning of Year 8. Then in Year 9, I was doomed to remain in all the mediocre classes. I could've made it to university, but those scars took too long to heal, and now I am ploughing through an alternative path towards my career choice.

I've learned one valuable lesson here. They are the ones with the huge problems. They selfishly decide that to make themselves feel better, they have to make someone else feel worse. If I could turn back time, I'd handle them differently. Simply saying "Sorry you think of me like that.", then walking away is enough to make THEM look like the fool.

But if anything good came out of the experience, I've realised how futile anger is, and have since been training myself to try and surpass it. I was overly angry with everything all the way through, and then it hit me... nothing was accomplished in such an irrational state of mind. And now that I've learned that lesson, I'm one step closer to true happiness.

Tired of ads?

When I was in first grade I got punched around by two little black kids for no reason at all. Even though they were so young, looking back, there was no other reason than race. Where I lived at the time, I was a minority, and fighting back never crossed my mind.

In any case, thats all I have to share, for after that I never had any serious problems. Never got picked on after that seriously (besides the usual BS ), and I've never been one to pick on others (besides a little ribbing).

I said a few things when I was in high school that were pretty cruel and I wish I could take back....but who doesnt?

I was the smallest kid in first grade. Tiny lil' wisp of a thing, scrawny, scared....got picked on all the time, til about fifth grade....then, I hit the mother lode of growth spurts, and in the course of one summer, I went from being the runt to....Clifford the Dog? Heads and shoulders biggers than everybody else.

Got picked on one time after that (old habits die hard?), and threw the offender in an open dumpster.

Never happened again.

Middle School sucked for me - I was the 2nd smallest kid in my class. Plus, I had the horrible affliction of being smart, and actually being kinda proud of it. Oops. There seem to be lots of kids who don't know what happened to the Neaderthals...

High School (which I entered at aprox. 5' & 100lbs) wasn't a whole lot better until my senior year, when I was ready to leave anyway. College, luckily, was a much better experience.

I wouldn't have minded a piece of that growth spurt, Vel. I managed 5'7", but it didn't help much.
