It's time. Time we started to lay the smack down on the Egyptians candy asses. We should wait until they have Adam's Smith, but we need to be prepared for that instant.

As for the Romans, Indians etc, I need the game to actually see for myself what the state of things is. shade, since you are Trade Advisor and, as former President since you are right up to date with things you have the perfect viewpoint - would the potential loss in trade from trade routes in India and Rome offset the benefit from our crushing them? I understand that the main point of caravans (apart from that deLICIous camel meat - yum ) is for the instant bonus, but we should have racked up quite a few extra arrows over the last few centuries. Can we do without them?

We will soon be ready to slap the egyptians about. The americans are nearby, we can mop the floor with them if they get in the way.

I advocate avoiding wars with the other civs until we break the egyptians and americans. Too many fronts may require spreading our forces too thinly to be effective. If they insist, we should just sit back and let them die against our walls until adequate attacking units can be brought in.

Got spare money?

Question is, do we wait till Leo? We have Warriors defending most of our cities at the mo' and couldn't take an assault without some losses.

Exactly, MdS! "Preparing for attacking" is what we need to be doing now. And one (maybe 2) enemies at a time. We can afford to simply defend our positions near the other civs while we "educate" the Egyptians.

WMIA - I don't have the game file yet (I think), but I understand we are very close to Leo's. It will be very good if we can get a unit upgrade at about the same time Adam's is completed and we can take it from the Egyptians

*looks in Orb of knowledge*
I predict that in 5 turns maximum all our warriors will be upgraded to musketeers.
I also predict that in Max 2 turns Leo's can be finished(and will be I hope)

btw while waiting for the egyptians to finish we can start with the Americans we'll have to fight them sooner or later and they are real troublemakers.
--> bash the Americans until the Egyptians finish Adam smiths.

Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

Our troops won't be in place for several turns still, and we MUST wait until the Egyptians finish Adam Smith's - And I am afraid they may cancel the wonder if we fail to take the city the turn we start our invasion. We should build up our armies, and when the time is right, attack with overwhelming force.
