German EOG:
Hello everybody there, it's been a loooooong time since the last of you wrote to me ;-)
I'm the unfortunate "Germany" who started the game with congratulations from abroad (4 builds first year, strong confidence) and ended miserably its "game" this turn.
I wanted to say "this is my EOG", but sorry, there was no "game" for me past the two first years.
To all I "betrayed" ("delured" is more appropriate, 'cause I hope that I managed to never lie), I would present apologies for such a poor thing to do ; I especially think of Chazzy and Victor Galis, (althought one more time, Victor proved to be a lot more unreliable than me ;-)
To all who profitted of my bad odds by using the technique "stabbing there, stabbing here, stabbing "in case of", "autumn stabbing to scratch a SC" and such", I would like to express my despiteness (mépris) for such pityful attempts. (no names please, look the moves log ;-)
At last, I would like to say that I enjoyed the start of the play, and regretted that it does end this miserable way ***only because*** Defiant/Poland didn't trust me as I trusted him. What is too stupid is that despite my assurances that nothing would happen to him, he was planning a lot of years ahead ("when France would have fallen, where would you strike then ? Me. I prefer to crush you now that I have the occasion").
I must precise that I "diplomacy-know" him and appreciate him.
I *really really really* regret that things went that way between him and me 'cause I still think we had a win-win situation and, blah blah blah I know, "the face of the world would have changed".
Anyway, everybody please receive here my best wishes of game luck and a good game.
Vincent
PS : thanks anyway to have let me have the chance of seeing, not only a victorious Polish in a battle (grin, grin, grin), but even a Blitzkrieg of Polish horsemen successful over Germany's panzers (who were too far away to intervene). Nice move 8-/
