If any diplomats join the invasion, we could steal first, then acquire another tech by conquest. Alas, I'm not sure we have enough boats for that. I would prefer to take whatever we don't research ourselves.

I agree. Given what Shade experienced in the previous turns, the AIs are not interested in trading techs with us. Looks like we'll have to earn them or take them for a while. And it won't be too long before they won't have any we don't.

Let's see....economics...Stock Exchanges, which aren't much use to us now, Adam Smiths, which we will soon acquire anyways, and it's a prereq for Corporation, a long ways off...I think that university would be a much more useful acquisation than economics at this point.
