I should admit to being the one who requested a moderator - IMHO, the forum has a number of threads that need regular maintenance. The pre-registration thread, for one, and the rebang threads as well, since they should be stickied to the top of the forum. Pretty simple tasks, really... maybe we only need a "half-moderator"

Ah, someone to make posts sticky and such. (And UNsticky some of those vastly outdated posts wasting space at the top now? ;>) I'd be all for that. Burbel sounds good to me, if he has the time. I know Aeturneus and I seem to be the ones with the most time on our hands to burn, though. And, well, Wittlich always responds to posts within 5 minutes. I wonder when that boy SLEEPS!

Smartass. Actually, I am retired (US Army) and I currently have alot of time on my hands until the fall term starts...yep, I'm going back to university at the age of 39.

I'm probably not that good, with my new job testing XBox games, the hours are crazy, and the opportunity for Swath-ing while at work is nil.

However, I will do my best to remain active in at least one game (probably WotW, maybe Firaxis as well, except the dupes there make it annoying).

No real reason to play Firaxis right now, at least not until after the corp 5 vs. corp 10 battle is decided and the game is rebanged... After the rebang, I probably won't play Firaxis for the same reason you stated, the dupes... I'll stick to my own server and Aeturneus's at that point, since A and I can definitely keep up with banning IP's when/if necessary.

On another note to everyone, may I ask what's wrong with my server? Everyone seems to hate it

Owell... maybe when I get some more games going, especially with active aliens, people will be more interested...

I don't have the time I used to; I know the normal rules, but I'm not used to the mods, so it's easier for me to play/coast on a normal server than a modded server.

If I had more time, I'd probably pick the modded server as my primary. That's my main thing right now...
