	Resolution Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

I want to play civ3 in higher resolutions than 1024x768. Now, I know this can be done by adding a line to some .ini file, but I don't know how to do this. Can someone please help? (Firaxis?)

Put the line

KeepRes=1

into the file c:\Program Files\Infogrames Interactive\Civilization III\Civilization3.ini

That keeps the current resolution at 1280 * 1024 if that is your current desktop setting. I don't know whether higher resolutions are possible.

Normal resolution mode for 1280 is 1280 x 960 by the way.

You add the line to the Civ3.Ini file as above.

The main game screen will be in the higher resolution, but the other screens will always be in the 1024 x 768 resolution (makes those screens smaller surrounded by a black part or the main screen part.)
Only one size for them.
