	CIV 3 Storywriter's Union Tired of ads?

This is the storywriter's union thread, designed to give some power back to the writers. It recognizes that there are many great storywriters here who write SOLELY for the fun of it, we get no $$$$$ besides a $2 discount on the online store which won't even cover shipping, we get no physical awards, and yet, we keep writing.

We write with responses like WRITE WRITE WRITE when we only had time to do 4 paragraphs, which take some of us, including me, long amounts of time before they are thought of as worthy to be posted.

Here I just want to know who want's in on the storywriter's union, I will then send PMs to people who ask to be in, with more information, or check this post for the updated member roll.

I would like to have the members of this organization to be respected in their views on story writing, and that the members of the union be more than willing to answer questions from up-and-comers, as well as veterans who just have a small question.

NEW STUFF!!!

As members of this Union, all are expected to participate with conduct becoming of a member of the union, a violation of the Terms of Service will result in Union expulsion.

All members are asked to invite writers to the union.

If a union member is bothering another Union member, send me a PM and I will determine the best way to deal with it.

ALL UNION VOTES ARE ROLL CALL VOTES- meaning that a thread will be set up, and only names on the member roll may vote.

The storywriters union will have 4 awards to participants of the SUNES or Story Union Never Ending Story. Metaliturtle will be the Judge, the awards will be as follows:

Funniest:
Most historically accurate:
Most territory at the end of game:
Most Peaceful:

The end of game will be 2 Months from today, or when the thread dies, as it stands now, on 7/18, Nominations will begin, (I'll post a thread)

I'd be in...although I only write here occasionally. Epics are draining! I'm more of a lurker.

I like the general direction this board is going in, especially having a moderator back, contests going, etc. If the union is to be advisory, I think there should be a thread for "general tips" or some such. At least then Civman could link that, instead of that poor guy, who has suffered enough.

This is such a wonderful idea. Back in the day...many moons ago when I was writing, the boards almost died out. I am so glad to see them revitalized. You guys keep this up.

I'll be in after my first story is finished. But until then, there's no point. My first story is a WTE OzWolf / Metaliturtle hybrid type style, but its immensely long and I will wait until I finish before I post.

Many of you have seen SKILORDS NES, well this one is going to be for the storyteller's union only, what I need is someone to proctor the NES, (decide fights, and redraw the map) Because of this person's power, he will maintain a neutral country of moderate size, and will be immune to attacks. This person will still get a vote on world issues, they just cannot invade other nations. The reason I'm asking here is so that they can better moderate the game by being the originator.
