Oh I disagree! I would think it off paramount importance to prove that there was absolutely no way Oswald was acting alone, if at all.

True, but I think maybe we'll know some day when all the conspirators are dead. The last one will probably leave something... I mean, it's too good a secret to keep! But if that doesn't happen, then I could see going to check out Dallas on that fateful day.

What if the genie decides you'd be happier if you were dead? They pull tricks like that.

Besides, happiness is rendered meaningless if it's constant. You would lose what it means to be happy if you were happy all the time.

And much of the world's greatest thoughts and art came from miserable people. Just ask Beethoven.

Quite a few. But here are my top ten.

1. Reign of Ramses II in Egypt
2. Alexander the Great's campaign (if I could follow him through it)
3. The crucifixion and so-called "resurrection" of Jesus.
4. Battle of Hastings
5. Battle of Agincourt
6. Fall of the Aztec empire
7. American war for independence
8. Battle of Waterloo
9. Russian revolution
10. JFK Assassination (from behind the point where the gun was fired. Just so I know exactly who's responsible)

As for future events I'd like to see firsthand...

Nothing comes anywhere before WORLD PEACE!!!

Got spare money?

Oh my... so many choices...

In no particular order;

Witnessing the arrival of the Vikings in North America
Battle of Hastings
Battle of Agincourt
Battle of Troys (I want to see that damned horse!)
The Armada
Battle of Trafalgar (actually, all of Nelson's career; Copenhagen would have been neat to watch too)
Battle of Waterloo
Death and resurrection of Christ
Newton getting konked by an apple
Martin Luther hammering his Theses to the door of the Church (anyone seen that Simpsons episode where Lisa creates a petri-dish civilization?)
The dying days (years really, Cicero et al.) of the Roman Republic as it slides into civil war and the Roman Empire is born.
Likewise, the fall of the Roman Empire (the sacking of Rome by the Visigoths)

That's just a partial list...

Then the genie would give you a credit card, and neglect to tell that when you reach into your pocket to pay for that you'd find another credit card.... and he'd never actually pay your debt .

Nope, because I specifically said "money," and a credit card isn't money.

Now, maybe he'd make it come out in pesos or lira, if he was fiendish. But I could handle going to the exchange every day so long as I had the dough.

Actually, technically, it is a form of money. Credit cards are under the definition M2 of money. Not totally liquid, but liquid enough.

Because you can easily pay for things using it. So it is somewhat liquid, but not as liquid as cash. Though more liquid than stocks, CDs, bonds, etc.

Just seems paradoxical to me that debt would ever be considered liquid, as credit is just another term for being in debt.

In economic terms, credit cards are somewhat liquid... since they can easily be used to pay for things.

Agreed. I also say cruxificion. This event had huge ramifications on us. And was so long ago that the history is rather vague.

If your curious about history, (rather than just wanting to watch fireowrks, this is the vent to see.)

As well as the incredible effect on yourself and your faith.
