Any ideas for my alternative tech-tree art? Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

Hi, folks,

I notice that some of you guys have had similar ideas already with regards changing the graphics of the game.

I'm hoping with fingers crossed that someone hasn't provided you with alternative tech-tree graphics... well, if they have, I'm working on a set that could provide you with yet another alternative. You're spoiled rotten!

Anyway, I'm all but done and hope to be whacking the finished job up onto that there internet within the next few days. The only problem I'm having is finding material for the following techs. Can any of you provide suggestions? Please bear in mind that I'm trying to use realistic images such as photgraphs where possible and photos of replicas and re-enactments for pre-photgraphy techs. I should point out that Google's image search function has already been exhaustively harvested.

Anyway, that list of missing techs in full:

Atomic Theory (Hard to find a suitable diagram of an atom)
Electronics
Economics
Metallurgy
(not as easy as you might think )
Mass Production
Printing Press
Sanitation
Smart Weapons
Superconductor
Theology

Thanks for your help,

Josef

Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

ixnay,

Thanks for your help.

Unfortunately, I've already used a circuit board for my computers tech icon. I used an image of a light bulb for Electricity so I really need something more techno than a light-bulb, but less techno than a circuit board for Electronics; I was thinking of a pre-transistor primitive circuit board complete with valves and all... a bit like the water chip from Fallout, if you've ever played it.

I've seen that Mass Production image somewhere before... on one of my many light-night Google-athons, I think. It is definitely a contender for the finished article, but for that gimp standing to one side...

I'm afraid I can't use that metallurgy image because the guys in space-suits aren't in keeping with the renaissance era in which the tech is discovered. I was thinking more of an etching of renaissance engineers casting a gun, or even a photo of an original renaissance piece in a museum.

Well, sorry to have been so negative; I really appreciate your input, but the search goeas on.

Josef
