Ancient statue discovered. Got spare money?

things are discovered frequently. Reecently there was a ancient tomb, when the metro works were being done 100s of more ancient artifacts were also discovered.

And last friday this statue was discovered (unearthed) in Athens

from the archaic period 7-6 BC.

Now does this look Greek to you?

I think it is finally being proven true that we come from the planetary system Sirius and that we have the "E" gene. Yes, it will all be revieled.

This statue makes me want to listen to indie (as in indian) music

I think it proves that incredibly small genitalia were the height of fashion in Greece.

paiktis, I hope you know that the Greek population of nowadays has hardly any ethnical links to the ancient one...

you're probably 80% of Slav origin, and 15% Turkish

well I'm not good with percentage points, but judging from history and without any pro or anti greek prejudisms I'd have to say that most of our "bloodline" remains greek.

I don't know about percentages, that was just a rational estimation.

I heard that the reasons for statues having such small genitalia in Greek/Roman society was so that they didn't make the people who they were being sculpted for, or people in power, feel inadequate...

Ancient Greeks were pretty vulgar and aggresive when they chose to be

It is funny to witness this "purging" of Ancient Greek thought that was performed in the 19th century mostly. By western scholars coming to Greece expecting to meet men wearing tivenus garmenta.
In some villages there is this custom of men running around with erect mock phaluses and chasing/playing dirty tricks with women. It is performed in Apokries... (the Church doesn't like it)

It was scandalous they said...

Hehe, I presume the reason why ancient Greeks were gay is because of the sheer micropenileness present in society, they'd rather pleasure themselves with an aubergine and thus, the men weren't left with any option

There, one of the worlds greatest conundrums figured out by one of the worlds greatest minds

Yeah, but snogging a bird perched on an abnormally large phallus can't exactly be normal either, surely

I'm sure there must be an alligorical meaning to it. (the bird that is, not the phalus - this is a hard fact).

Dal, the bird seems to have human hands.
