	Playing time comparison between Civ1,2, and 3 Put an end to popups!

I know there is a thread going now about how long your games last in Civ3.

And from what I gather, hours and days even weeks.

Even though I play on a tiny map, it just seems the game takes forever. Maybe my attention span is short. I spend all my time in the Ancient Age and am just too worn out to go on even though I still am interested. But if I have to continue the game the next day or two days later, I can't seem to ever pick up where I left off. It has faded a bit over the length of time. (I guess I have faded...)

I have Civ1, 2, and 3. Even though the graphics and goodies are better in Civ3, would my games be shorter in Civ1?

Is there anyone else out there who would like to play short games? Is there a way to do this? I love the beginning of the game...

A map in Civ1 is several times smaller than most maps in Civ2 and Civ3.

Would Civ1 maps be as small as the tiny map in Civ3? The small map in Civ3?
