	How to get into Chat? Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

I try to get into the chat rooms here at Apolyton, but whenever I try, it tells me to register/login, but when I choose register it says that I am already registered, and when I choose login, it says that I am already logged in. No matter what I do, it will not let me get into the chat rooms! Can anybody tell me what I am doing wrong?

Just tried it with Netscape 6.2 by just hitting the chat link here on the forum page. And Netscape 6.2 gave me just an empty page. I tried it with Netscape 4.5 again I got the message that I have to log in, because Netscape 4.5 was not loged in, and I came to the controll panel no chat room. So I tried it with Nestcape 4.5 just to return to the log in message, loged in return to the control panel.

I don't use IE and I won't if it is not necessary, by the way I don't use cookies too.

OK just tried it with IE 5.5 - The same result as with Netscape 4.5. I found me again on the user control panel.

MarkG has tried to help me with it in the thread he started on the chat room in this forum. I guess he's given up in despair long ago. Cookies enabled, yet I need to log in all the time, and it takes my straight to a 404 when i try to enter.

do you have the "browse with cookies" option turned on or off (in your control panel>options page)?
