	badly wanted: the first, official, Candle'Bre mod Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

i saw somewhere that Candle'Bre will have many fantasy elements. as much as like fantasy and sf in books, movies and tv, i do NOT like it in a civ game. i find that it increases my learning curve too much

so here is my request for the first Candle'Bre mod to be an official one: the Real World/Actual Mankind History mod! (RW/AMH!)

As for the mod Markos ... well ... you could always try and mod the game yourself ... I mean it's not as if you have a huge website to run or anything ... oh wait a minute ...

That idea of a mod doesn't sound too bad ... 'just like Civ' ... I can see that being the tag-line for the mod.

I'm not sure if the fantasy setting specifically will increase your learning curve ... we're not gonna have elves and dwarves and dragons running about all over the place. There will be several game mechanics that aren't present in many other Civ games, of course, and those may take a while to get the hang of ... for everybody ... the designers as well as the players. However, I doubt the setting itself will be too different from what you are used to. There will be a modest amount of magic, but the Infantry, Cavalry, Archer, Pikemen etc ... units are of the same sort that are to be found in the Civ games.

Oh, I did, RPM, I did.

Now that you mention it any CB team researching games could do very well taking a peek at Deadlock. A very decent, high-level managemant game of province control with research, espionage diplomacy and tac combat.
