	Altering Civ3 Original Files Increase Your PM Length

How do I change the maximum number of civs available per map size? For example, if I want to play w/ 12 civs on a small map, how do I alter files to do this? Also, where do I find these files, folders, etc?

FYI --- I'm playing the mac version if it matters.

Does the mac version have CivEdit? Anyway, that's what you need - CivEdit > Edit > Edit Rules > World Sizes. This screen allows you to set the number of civs available for each map size.

Is CivEdit created by a fan or Firaxis? In other words, did it come w/ the PC Civ3 version? I do not see it any where in my Civ3 folder.

I think it might only come with the PC version, I'm not sure. Can any other mac users confirm this?

I hope not, coz if it is you're a bit screwed when it comes to modding.

I've got this same thread going in the Civ3 mac category at CivFanatics so I hope to hear something soon. There is a group that post regularly. The Apolyton mac category isn't visited very often.
