infinite range - editor Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

im newbie to 1.21f and editor..

What is the 'infinite range' used for in editor's unit options..
The info on the help says 'give unit infinite target range' or so, but i cant make that work for planes, cruise missiles or anything

Well, the ICBM has 'Infinite range', so presumabely it'd work for cruise missiles too...

Infinite range only works for units with bombardment (not to be confused with air bombardment, which is also called bombardment in the editor).

heh.. used hex editor to modify my plane's range of operation in the .bic file.. from 6 to 10
it worked, the grid was the right size and was able to bomb roads, mines etc 10 hexes away from the plane but when i bombed a enemy city 10 hexes a way civ3 crashed

sniff, i woulve been so happy if this had worked with such little effort..
