Definitely the Turtle Boat.
That was one of my favourite UUs in AOE2. It would be good to see it in Civ III as well.

My vote is for the most plentiful unit in their country: The Starving Refugee.

I have a new idea for a Korean UU: Accelerated Slaves. Whenever you go near their borders, a bunch of Korean workers just join your units, and they work extra hard. Bonuses apply for those who play Japan or China, who have used them as slaves for thousands of years.
Korea as a civ is a total crock.

It seems from the e3 vid that the Hwacha going to be the UU, since it was put with two other UUs, although it still could be part of the Feudal Japan unit pack.

Siredgar: We've all seen them before. And yes, they're cool looking. Should they be the UU of Korea? No.
As i've said in other various UU threads, Turtle Ships were used by Admiral Yi Shun Shi's fleet only. As soon as he died, so did all the Turtle Ships korea had. I don't consider it the best choice for their UU unit.
Aside from that, Naval units are really a waste, since most of the time your enemy is going to be continent based. Look at Britain. And it would really be doing a disservice to the Turtle ship anyway, since the spikes and iron coating would really have no real purpose in the Civ 3 engine: It would just be able to bombard.
I think the best choice for the Korean UU would be a Korean Skirmisher or Spearman from the Mongol occupation times. They were the mainstay of the Khan's armies.

You're right that a land-based unit may be more appropriate for the Koreans because they will be primarily fighting the Chinese on a realistic map. However, if you are playing on any other map, they could be quite useful. Even on a realistic map, this sea-based unit would provide the Koreans a good offense/defense against the Japanese.
Anyhow, I disagree about the Skirmisher or Spearman unit because they are not distinctly Korean and they do not come at the height of the Korean civilization. Generally, the UU's seem to appear either at the height of or a momentous moment of a civilization. As I have stated before, the Kobukson was unique in that it was the world's first ironclad warship and only used by the Koreans. It is quite majestic-looking, too.
Regardless, does anyone know where it was stated that this unit is called the "Hwacha"? I don't recall this anywhere. If it is indeed called that, then the Koreans are definitely in the expansion pack. But if this is something that someone just called that unit in the picture, then it is less likely.
