It's just a suggestion, but I feel it would make things easier for those who have missed 5 minutes of discussion and who wish to go back and read. Perhaps a little box you could check and uncheck?

Or just a command that will freeze the frame.

But unlocking the auto scroll would be best.

I end up having to open notepad, select all, and cut and paste the discussion, usually twice, to get caught up.

Much more user friendly if you can just scroll to where you want to be and not have the thing move it away...

isn't there some way to unlock the autoscroll? i think there is some button in the upper right hand corner of the window, i'll have to go see...

edit: i guess not, that detach thing was something else

I get the impression, I'm not seeing the whole window. People talk about commands on the top, but I don't see them. I'm on a laptop, so the screen is small. Would be nice if there was some command like sliders or something so I could see the top part of the chat page.

Markos, any way to tell just how many lines there are in the buffer? I was thinking of my failed /save 10000 the other day.

the buffer is for 96 hours not a set number of lines

but if a line is for a example 300 characters of html code and you ask for 10000 then you're requesting from the server to make you and send you a 3mb file

Still, would it be possible to implement something along the line of "/save 3h"? I'm thinking in case certain parties here wanted to run creative sessions with actual gaming content and save the whole glorious thing for posterity to admire.

The /save is not a very satisfacotory subsitute. It doesn't freeze the frame but rather sends me a download. This is pretty cumbersome. Also, I tested it and it did not work...
