Problems with attachments Increase Your PM Length

as of just a couple minutes ago, while trying to update and post some maps in the civ3-stories forum, it brought up errors and continues to do so.

The error:
quote:

Warning: MySQL: Unable to save result set in /home/virtual/site1/fst/var/www/html/forums/admin/db_mysql.php on line 116

There seems to have been a slight problem with the database. Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.

An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, who you can also contact if the problem persists.

We apologise for any inconvenience.

Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

I sort of had a problem as well. I was posting an attachment and it took forever to process the post. After several minutes it came up with an error: attachment to big (which was indeed the case). It might not be related, but I dont' think it should take this long for figure out the file size...

As it works it does. When you submit the file it's uploaded with the form by the browser. Then php checks the filesize. I don't know if there is anyway to have it checked by JavaScript before upload, but I'll investigate such code...

Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

Nope, there is no way to chack the filesize before the form is submitted. At least no non-browser specific way.
