Basically I've put up a poll after every session to chart what techs to research, steal, etc. In the event of ties, I would give the president my opinion of what course of action to take.

Some of the things I'd like to find out: Am I planning far enough ahead? Making enough polls? Informing people as to what I think we should do?

More discussion of long-term tech paths would be nice.
Summarizing polls after they're closed would be nice.

But you seem to be doing fine AFAIK, IIRC.

ixnay37 - I think you have done just fine. Perhaps clarifying the *purpose* of the techs you poll about would help (and I know you did that once). I think it might help to focus on the specific benefit or Wonder that a slightly longer tech path would produce. For example, if you suggest Feudalism, is it in order to build units to be upgraded by Leo's to Dragoons, or is it for Sun Tzu's? Or both, of course.

It may help the voters decide what to vote for.
