May be this Dino mod (that also appear on the E3 movie) is an inside joke at Firaxis, but we must remember that Firaxis developed some graphics while playing with design concept for the dead project "Sid's Dino".

It probably is more a reuse for free than a waste of time.

Civ3 is so much more fun, even with all its abstractions,

Cetaganda, Komarr... well, interesting concept but I have a feeling that Civ III engine is not the best for this kind of SF - Multyplanet sort of mod.

OTOH we can try to reproduce the Cetagandian invasion that IIRC is only on the background of the story (never fully descripted). Isn't the nuclear attack of the Vorkosigan province (former capitol) a great example of pollution?

BTW, a Haut lady is more a Great Leader than a military unit, don't you agree?

I have more usual idea about scenario with low military but high research/diplo focus. I'm only wondering if the new editor and the game engine are flexible enough for my project.

Well, let's wait and see.
