what is a caravan?

I'm building mainly boats and crusaders right now.No caravan rehoming as trade is more or less done.I have some internal routes in the original 5 cities but thats it.

The ai all have Legions but they are no match for vet crusaders.My pikes can hold behind walls.They'll even beat cats most times.

The ais are puny and look weak.Just a matter of assembling and sailing forces....unless one of them gets GP before I get there.Building some dips as backup.

Next target is Karakorum and their beautiful Gardens....

Something odd happened when I killed off the Greeks.The Great Library owning Aztecs got 2 techs just as I sacked the last city.I thought "oh no,restarts is on" but Marco's says no it isn't


Now that I have seen a little more I realize that SS may have been faster.The Japanese have 1 city hiding somewhere and there at least 2 other "needles in the haystack" cities out there

Does Marco's give you an embassy with restarts? I didn't think it did, but it is so long snce I played with restarts my memory may be playing games

It has been said that the world is blue, since most astronauts tell us so when coming back from space . This is a lie: the world is white, since white is the Roman colour in this game.
1840AD: I guess this is not going to be the earliest conquest, since smash had a much better start in BC years (settlers able to settle abroad , instead of my poor scouts killed by barbs).
At least, it is the earliest post .

Maybe.Its 1520AD and there are 8 ai cities left.1 of which is unfound.I can't make nice as the ais want me to fork over GP first.Can't do that yet.They can't have gone too far.....

Hmm.
Well I'm at around 800AD I think, haven't even begun conquest, just getting all the wonders I need... Getting 250 cash per turn now, so building wonders and making my colonies hospitable... plan on conquest once I've gotten Sun Tzu and planned it a bit.

I'm micromanging more than I've ever done so it's going slowly, and by my typical games, boringly as I usually go for early combat whereas I'm empire-building in Republic still, and had no contact with other civs except chat.

Looks like I'll have to put on my war hat pretty soon to stand a chance of decent conquest... or I could even go early SS... but thats no fun.

I went ahead and gifted the tech/share maps.Since I had 25 galleons with 99 crusaders all over the map it was just a matter of moving the boats to the 2 isolated cities.

I finished in 1580AD by conquest.I did not bribe any cities
