Woke up early and realized I can't remember something. I could test it but I am sure someone knows the answer.

Hardened noodlejet attacks mind worm boil in base with air complex, defender has Neural Amp=what odds?

3 to 2 basic. Complex doubles and NA adds half. I make that 2*2.5=5

So I am thinking 3 to 5 odds. Is that correct?

No, because bonuses multiply, not add. All else being equal, you'd have 2*2*1.5=6, or odds of 3 to 6 (which should be 1 to 2).

Not only that, but the Aerospace complex has no effect on psi combat. The odds are 3 to 3.

No, if the complex has no effect on psi combat, then the base defense 25% surely counts.

I guess that would be 2*1.25*1.5=3.75

3 to 3.75.

Does that sound right to anyone.

I think that's right. Before morale/lifecycle effects and sensors.

Also, if the base in question is a seabase, the basic odds are only 1:1

MariOne probably has an excel sheet with all of this broken out. Hope he drops by soon!

I don't understand why the seabase makes a difference?

Psi combat with air and sea defenders=1to 1 basic
Psi combat with land defender=3 to 2 basic

Anyway I found a chart here with this stuff on it but it was not confirmed by MariOne so I do not trust it.

I lost the url for it too.

My bad. I was in error about the seabase.

Checking in the editor, 3:3.75 as noted above is correct.
