I've made trades that say they can be ended peacefully after 20 turns, but I haven't figured out how to do so. How do you cancel trades after 20 turns?

Talk to them
go down to the bottom of the diplomacy screen
active? click on that and click on the thing you want to get rid of
active might be the wrong word

Its "active". It looks like a word but its really a button. There are two at the bottom.

Its also how you can renegotiate a peace treaty.

Thanks, I cant believe I over looked that. I always wonder what "active" was for, just never made the connection.
