I got another newbie question for you guys. How do I upgrade units? I've done this in my other game but for some reason I don't have the option in this game. Do you have to have a certain tech, improvement, or wonder before your aload to upgrade?

You must
Have the unit to be upgraded in a city.
Have a Barracks in the city the unit is in.
If the unit needs a resource it must be in the resource box for the city
You must have the tech that enables the unit.
For instance to build upgrade a horseman to knight you must know the Chivalry tech, move the horseman to a city that has a barracks and have iron in the resource box. Not sure if you need horses for an upgrade to knight with the latest patch.

Thanks for the help. I need to get the barracks. I new it was something stupid like that but when I looked up barracks in the civilepedia, or what ever its called, I didn't see anything about upgrades it only says you get veterans instead of regular units.
