	What's Up With This Screen Shot? MP? No AI? Enter the AD-FREE zone

i was just looking the pics over again, and i notcied the minimap and the tech being researched.

its 490 AD, and the island isnt completely colonized... and the spanish are researching Feudalism, quite slowly i might add.

anyway, it appears as if this is a MP game, without any AI influence.

usually the AI tech whoring leads to much more rapid tech research... by 490 AD people are running around with calvary and such.

the land grab seems to have been quite scarse... meaning no AI has had the oppurtunity to randomly colonize every possible crevasie in the map...

quite interesting to see Firaxis playing multiplayer without me.

there should be a contest where i can play sid. i bet i'd own him

Probably could. Considering how many projects Sid Meier is always working on, he can't POSSIBLY get much playing time in.

J. Morris already said that all these screenshots were just make with cheat modes for E3.

Is that cheat modes or scen. editor? If cheats, perhaps some whiners will get what they wanted (and hey, cheating once in a while is kinda fun, if only done rarely).

If I understand correctly, turnless mode is without AI, in order to make the action fast paced. There is a probability, however, that the AI doesn't come into play in MP... Remember Cossacks, there was MP out of the box, but we had to wait for the XP to play against the AI while playing MP.
Maybe MP with AIs will be for the 2nd XP
