	Fast Fliers PBEM game Tired of ads?

We'd like to start out by probably using Keygen's fast-start mod on a relatively large and fertile planet. If you guys don't have a copy of the mod, I can send it with the turn if I'm the one that sets this up.

Level: Diety
Map: Huge
World: Doughnut
Barbarians: [one up from ruins]

I will moderate it with great pleasure!

My advice: Don't start with gigantic. Trust me, it's really too big. Huge is more than adequate up to six players.

Name/nationality... hmmmm... I think I'd like to be Ricketyclik of the Waramangans (country name Waramanga - can you put in custom countries?) If no custom available, Australian I guess.

I have the modlite, which is the one we started with in Bulletproof, seemed plenty fast enough...

The above is edited... I'll also throw in the "one up from ruins" but this is a game of us vs. other players, not the AI and the barbarians I would think.

I really don't think we can, but what you can do is just rename the cities to fit in with the Waramanga theme.

Excellant! Kralj, do you know if the modlite is required by all players, or just the starting one?

The above stuff has been updated too... still need some e-mail addresses (okay, so I'm a little lazy and don't want to go hunting through other threads.)

I'll update the above with my usual sliders and run with doughnut and Diety since I haven't seen any complaints.

I like this whole setting up thing... nobody better drop out on us!

And I do appreciate you jumping in to moderate Kralj. I'm just wondering if it is kosher for me to be starting it off if I'm actually playing in it, obviously I'd have to set myself as the first player to make it fair... is that the way it's usually done when a player of the game sets it up?

Love to have you jump in! I think this'll close out the joining though, if we want a turn every other day (at best) I think five (even though Kralj did mention six) would be a safe bet.

Just be sure to tell me what your preferred race/people is and I'll put it at the top.

Joining closed... once I get e-mail addresses and race preferences sorted out (unless there are major objections to any of the settings) we'll hopefully have the turn underway shortly.

I'm hoping everybody wants to be rated?

Only starter (first player) has to have mod installed.
For quick movement order of players should be from east to west. Five dedicated players can play turn in 24 hours and 48 hours per turn is still very good.
As far turn is moving with expected speed, I need only turn from last player. If delays will occur, then everybody should sent copy to me (nexting).

we're trying to determine play order, apparently quickest is east to west around the (real) world. where are u located?

david42one's e-mail and nationality (still don't understand why I was saying "people" for so long... just not remembering the word, I suppose).

Depending on where blackice and Milamber are geographically (in the real world), and once I get blackice's nationality (in game) and Milamber's nationality (in game) and his e-mail we'll be ready to go.

The turn order was updated to the tentative one. Rickety: if we all go rated, then you'll be the one to send a copy to Gav starting at turn 19 (and every ten after that, but I know you know I would say that )

Where's blackhawk? I'm not very good with Canadian geography... is that east, or west of the center of the U.S.?

I awoke with a groggy peel my eyes thick as though they had swelled from a hot sun and a good drunk. Where the hell am I was the first broken thought. A flash of a ship wreck flooded my mind. I slowly righted myself my eyes clearing slowly. My head was spinning but I made it to my knees with some effort.

I could hear a surging river through the forest close by. I stumbled to my feet my head spinnig and pounding with every heart beat. My mates where are my mates?

A few feet away I came to the river I began spashing cool water about my head and face. Oh how good that felt the mud washing from my eyes and mouth. Voices I could hear voices comming closer was it just me. I had obviously been through hell and back...
