i've been reading the features...it sounds ok..but so did civ3...

I have and played Monopoly Tycoon, which was a little bit fun.

uhm..what was a little bit fun? monopoly tycoon or moon tycoon?

I played the demo until it expired. Moon Tycoon looks suspiciously like a game called Fragile Allegiance which I think you can probably just about get for free now (try the underdogs site) and IMO it is superior to Moon Tycoon.

I played the beta of moon tycoon, and it was utter crap. Everything was awful: the sound, dialogue (*shudder*), boxy-looking graphics, tired and pointless gameplay (hey, lets just cram as many buildings as we can into as tight a space as possible. And do that over and over again and call them different missions), pathetic attempts at humor where there needed to be none, etc. I could go on and on. I don't know if any of this was fixed for the final release, but the beta really sucked.

fragile allegiance won't run unless in dos mode, and i've yet to figure how to get there in winxp...
