I was in a game about 6 months ago on the zone and after the game was over we discovered the host had started with 10,000 gold. I can't remember who it was, but commonterry was in the game (not the host).

The funny thing is we didn't find out until after the guy retired because he was getting beat so bad - then we saw the powergraph. You'd think with 10,000 gold you should be able to stay out of last place, at least until 1ad.

Hes annoying when he hosts, he always starts with free tech and never tells anyone. And if you ask he just won't answer.. then when his start is bad he will say he has a bunch of free tech and we should restart about 5 turns in..

haha, i remember a year or 2 ago, he got so pissed he edit out diplos' in the rules.txt and made a bunch of changes to the way units defend/attack and changed the shield cost of nearly every unit. Seems that didn't last to long either, as when players joined they would be totally confused after a while.

Hey Hey Hey. Don't knock the Pistons. Afterall they were the #2 team in the conference, 6th man of the year, defensive player of the year, coach of the year, exec of the year. That's not too bad of a season and they're only gonna be better next year.
