	Starting with 20000 gold???? Increase the size of your Attachments

Today I was starting in a 5-way at the zone, when suddenly I looked right and saw I had 20000 gold in the bank

Has anyone ever experienced this at start??

arriheidar, crusader, bartens, and some other guy, I'm pretty sure the first 3 are ok, the other guy I've never played before (or at least not under this name )

Propably he added 100000 gold to him self and 20000 to you to make you happy with the game!

Incredible.I notice one civ is passworded.That is most likely the culprit.It could be a glitch also.There is some money bugs here and there.Like getting 10,000 for capturing a crappy civ's city in solo play.And it usually involves the purple civ.
Its just seems too blantant to be cheating.20k is gonna show up as straight line up at 4000 bc on the PG ..no way to hide it

With 20,000 and your 1 city with buffalo, you can have 8 settlers by 3550bc as long as you don't build a second right away.3500bc you have 9 cities

I would suspect anyone who passwords there civ of cheating, no need to password when you have nothing to hide .

You work the river grass.Rush settlers until no surplus sheilds.Then put the worker on the buffalo.Rush 3 more settlers(iirc).Foodbox will still have a few turns of food left before any disbanding happens.You will build all your cities before that happens.Should be able to have a fair amount of roads done also with settlers working faster on 2x.

i've had it happen to me once in a civ fanatics game.. where i noticed i had 20,000.00 gold after 10 turns or so into the game ...me bartens and jhorsburg & i think airhidder was in that game also, so i think we know who the culpurt was.. he retired when i found him early. thats when i knoticed the money.. i pointed it out to the others and we restarted..

I'd be suprised if he were a cheater. Checked a couple saves of my recent games with him nothing suspicious going on there at first glance.

I think you where in the game a few months ago where a guy built collosus at 3500 bc and 13 or 14 cities by 3000 bc LOLOL Think he called himself loki. Wouldn't be suprised if its just the same old people coming back and changing names...

Bronze work was probably his only wonder tech.
(Yes my priorities might be a little different also if i had that much money )
But with that much money, buy em all. What the heck, if you're going to cheat, might as well cheat all the way.

This one obviously doesn't win the award for discreetness.

the earliest i have seen any wonder is 3150 and that had me scratching my head......but it is possible

Maybe if you built on Iron, had the tech from the first hut and got some money from huts and a barb king to finish it off and disband a few units built by your second city. Still a big maybe. And it would cripple any early expansion.

Of course in the old days, XIN used to build HG between 2900 and 2700 like clockwork.

the ealiest i have built a wonder was 3050.....and that was from 200g in huts four units from huts, one of which made it back on turn 10...city built on grass with to irons......

needless to say i got pottery from a hut , second city was on gold, two squares away from capital, received a nomad and a tribe and built hg and revolted the same turn...

weird stuff like this happens.....but to the same effect i had a similar position and had a wonder with only two cities and one set on the board.....

so things have to go really well to pull it off
