I, for one, certainly hope that PTW is ported over to the Macintosh platform. If it isn't, it will be a terrible blow to the Civ series on the Mac. We won't have MP, for starters, or any of the other great stuff TPTB Firaxis are working on in PTW.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. BTW, when would the earliest be that we'd hear of any porting agreement? Bradman? Anyone?

I think Macsoft and Westlake have done well with the Civ series on the Macintosh, insofar as Civ II is concerned. (I'm not sure if Macsoft had much of anything to do with C:CtP for the Mac ... that was more Westlake, I think.)

When I had Civ II Gold MPE, there were a few bugs in it that Brian Nesse and I worked on trying to fix. One was never fixed, but Nesse went above and beyond the call of duty, so to speak, in his effort to fix said bug. That has left me with a good impression of Macsoft and Westlake.

By the time I began posting on this thread, it was confirmed that the 1.21 patch was being worked on for Civ III Macintosh and, thus, would be available. The only remaining question is whether or not PTW will be ported over to the Macintosh, hence my focus on that.
