B-52 Bomber Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

Here are some B-52 flics for anyone to use. I copied them from the CTP II B-52 graphics set on request.

As some of you may know there is a very cheesy death animation in CTP, so I made a new one for this graphics set.

Enjoy,

Okay, now I am working on enlarging it somwhat, it seemed to look to small in Civ 3 for being a large bomber. I may have a new version out sometime before next weekend.

Outstanding job Timeline! You did a good job converting this. I downloaded the Buff unit graphics and made a B-52 unit, with these stats:

Prerequisite: Rocketry
Shield Cost: 14
Moves: 1
Operational Range: 8
Bombard Str: 16
ROF: 3

Resources: Aluminum
Oil

Tired of ads?

There is no known viewer for CTP/CTP2 sprites that I know of. Really, your actual viewer is the game itself. So to capture an image, you can use the print screen button to take a picture, and paste it into a graphics application, OR you can download the shareware version of a program like Hypercam (takes a picture of every frame displayed on your screen) and extract the image that way.

In the case of Hypercam, you will need to download Jasc Animation Shop to cut the image out. While your downloading programs, you might as well download Paint Shop Pro for use in editing the .pcx files that Flicster uses.

Many thanks to ImmortalWombat for the tips on image capturing in CTP.

Get a bigger avatar today!

You need to download flicster. This program will extract Civ 3 animations and break it down into a editible .PCX file. You then just copy and paste over the .PCX file, and use flicster to re compose the image into a flic.

Bang you got yourself a civ3 unit graphic.

Sorry I didnt get an image....I got sidetracked and now I am way too tired, sorry . Maybe tomorrow I will be able to put away this project (get larger flcs done).

Till then!

the *.pcx is editable?! I am sorry to say but when I use "Picture It" to convert a *.pcx to a *.bmp and converted it back to *.pcx when I am done editing. causes nothing but headach. Civ III crashes when I used a converted *.pcx.(Look in the forum entitled "*.bmp to *.pcx converting problems, need help") and when using flicster. enableing the alpha blend does not remove the pink background that it suppost to do with the ones that are in the game(They have not been touched and funtions properly).

Ok time to step of my soap box now . Sorry about that. It just that this *.pcx has gotten on my nerve .

Yup, use Paint Shop Pro to edit the PCX file. Don't change the file to any other type or it won't work (messes up the color pallete)
