Space05us, could have a city called Spaceosus (SPACE-E-O-SUS). And he could kinda be a governer of that city, and get dead pissed if everybody sells it or deliberatly loses it in a war!

no. the citys shall be named after historic battles, the ruling class, etc.

the people in charge need soem way to be remembered after their terms are up

uhh, i dont think i agree with any of the choices

i want cities named originally at first, but after the first few cycles of government, we name cities after people who did well in government.. like a succesful military advisor, or President.

Also, i think we should rename all cities we conquer.

In the Civ2 game it seems that the Prez arbitrarily names cities, and there's the odd occasion where a Council member/former Council member will have a city named after them as a testament to the brilliant work they did (eg Shade, Sodaq). It would perhaps be nice here if occasionally someone polled on city names.

Although I do kinda like the first option of this poll: making our first city and capital MrWIAville!
